The mission of the Agricultural Economic Development Program for Washington and Saratoga Counties is to retain existing agricultural businesses and to increase agricultural viability and profitability in both counties.  AEDP accomplishes this through partnerships that will support existing businesses and attract new enterprises, while improving the quality of life for the residents of Washington and Saratoga Counties.  AEDP focuses on the needs of local farms and agribusinesses to facilitate solutions that are in balance with local technical, financial and ecological resources. A strong farm economy creates local jobs, provides fresh food and food products and preserves the close knit communities in our counties.

Through this site we hope to offer everyone information about the dynamic farming industry in Washington and Saratoga Counties.
